Sacred Garden Gourmet was founded by Dr. Denise Buchanan, a global garden designer and frequent international traveler.
While moving through airports and transit hubs worldwide—from Los Angeles (LAX) to West Africa—one gap became clear to her: travelers were offered convenience, but rarely nourishment.

Dr. Buchanan saw that healthy snacks for airlines wholesale were often generic and processed. She set out to create a solution inspired by her Jamaican upbringing—where the aroma of jerk seasoning and root vegetables defined home—and her discovery of deep West African ancestry.
